Eligibility and scope
Who and what may enter
Select routes by origin and previous regional participation. The UK route serves UK wines and origins not covered by a regional route. New vintages and wines not entered elsewhere must meet the applicable rules.
Limits and exclusions
The entry must meet the selected edition, category, eligibility and intellectual-property requirements.

Choose a route to view its applicable events and fees. Alternative routes and packages must not be added together.

Amounts retain the official currency and recorded conditions. Entry, progression, award packages and optional items are distinct. Ruinuo’s advisory fees are agreed separately.

Entry materials

Physical samples required
Confirm the applicable stage, quantity, specification, receiving address and route before dispatch. Use the current official notice; an organiser’s office address is not automatically a sample warehouse.
- Quantity and specification
- UK wine: normally three bottles per wine; Discovery Tasting requires two more. The sake page says four bottles while a generic section says three; obtain sake-specific confirmation before dispatch.
- Delivery
- Use official post-entry labels and either a chosen carrier or Hellmann consolidation. Check regional consolidated and direct-delivery deadlines separately.
- Costs and responsibilities
- Courier deliveries must arrive duties paid. Entrants pay unpaid charges and penalties. Confirm consolidation/local delivery charges with the agent; entry fees do not replace them.
- Return and retention
- Official rules make received samples the property of IWC; they are not scheduled for bottle return after judging.

寄样要求：英国葡萄酒3瓶；清酒数量需复核
适用阶段：不同地区和清酒赛道按各自规则送样；英国葡萄酒与日本清酒不能套用同一套安排。
数量与规格：英国葡萄酒标准每款3瓶；选择Discovery Tasting另加2瓶。清酒页主体写4瓶，但通用段落仍写3瓶，发运前须取得清酒项目确认。
交付时间与地点：按照报名后官方标签寄送，可选自聘承运或Hellmann集运；分别核对所选地区的集运及直接到样日期。
费用由谁承担：快递须完税到达，参评者承担未付费用及罚金；集运与本地交样费用另向代理确认，不以报名费代替。

Assessment and recognition
How entries are assessed
Blind tasting is organised by factors including style and price. Regional, medal and trophy results follow the relevant 2027 calendar.
Recognition and permitted use
Finalists or winners may use the relevant title, certificate and communications materials under the organiser's permission.
Official sources and verification
This is an independently maintained reference record. The organiser’s current rules govern eligibility, deadlines, charges and the award decision. The review date describes source verification, not a new publication of organiser rules.
