QUESTIONS
Before you enter
Practical answers on selection, costs, samples, deadlines and advisory support.
How is a programme selected?
Start with the exact product or work and the intended assessment. Then check applicant, launch window, category, rights, materials, samples, dates and costs. A recognised name alone does not establish suitability.
Can concepts be entered?
Some design programmes accept concepts and others require market-ready or manufactured products. The selected edition and category determine the answer.
Does a free entry mean no possible cost?
No entry or judging fee may still leave optional physical purchases and external translation, testing, transport or advisory costs. These should be identified separately.
Can Ruinuo guarantee an award?
No. The organiser and its appointed evaluators determine the result. Preparation support does not purchase a result or replace the judging process.
Must every applicant send samples?
No. Some programmes review documents; others require physical products or request them after shortlisting. Follow the specific current instructions.
Are the displayed dates in China time?
Dates preserve the published local context. A time zone is shown where recorded. No precise China-time conversion is asserted where the official time or zone is unclear.
Can a client enter directly?
Yes. Companies may enter directly or commission a defined part of the preparation and coordination. Official entry requirements apply in either case.
What should an initial enquiry include?
The product name and version, purpose, market status, intended programmes, target timing and available materials are useful starting points.
